Securing exclusive rights to K-Cow Healthcare technology Monitor cow health conditions, early diagnosis of disease

ULike Korea, a digital livestock company, announced on the 12th that it has obtained a U.S. patent from the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office for « ruminous health information technology. »

Through the acquisition of the patent, ULike Korea has secured exclusive rights to K-Cow Healthcare technology in the U.S. market.

In particular, ‘ruminous health information monopoly technology’ plays a key role in early diagnosis and prevention of diseases by monitoring the stomach health status of cattle in real time.

The company explained that this technology will greatly contribute to improving productivity and efficient management of livestock farms by enabling analysis of the health status of cattle as well as the meat quality rating system based on artificial intelligence (AI).

ULike Korea is the first domestic animal healthcare company to develop an oral dosage IoT bio capsule called LiveCare and has already entered eight overseas countries.

It is a livestock healthcare platform that provides real-time health care services through a dedicated app by collecting accurate biometric information and analyzing artificial intelligence (AI) by injecting live care, a bio-capsule, and settling it in the cow rumen.

Live care is evaluated as a technology that is far more advanced than the existing method of attaching outside the body, such as the ears, neck, and legs of cows.

Kim Hee-jin, CEO of ULike Korea, said, « We are considered to have established a decisive bridgehead to enter the world’s largest 100 million U.S. livestock market, » adding, « We will also expand our current businesses in the U.S. »

He continued, « We have achieved technological innovation by converging livestock industry, data, and AI. We will change the paradigm of the global livestock industry with LiveCare, a data-based livestock healthcare AI platform, he said. « We will take it to the next level as a global livestock convergence platform with Metec Holdings, which succeeded in developing methane capsules, the world’s first equipment that can measure (detect) and reduce methane gas (CH4) generated inside a cow’s stomach. »
