FarmSee Ltd, a pioneering company specializing in camera-based Artificial Intelligence (AI) solutions for swine monitoring and production optimization, has announced a significant strategic collaboration with MSD Animal Health, a division of Merck & Co., Inc. This collaboration involves MSD Animal Health participating in FarmSee’s A round of funding and entering into a long-term agreement to integrate FarmSee’s AI-based weighing technology into its global offerings for swine producers. FarmSee has also secured a partnership with Munters in their A round funding.

Headquartered in Hod Hasharon, Israel, FarmSee utilizes computer vision and AI to provide the swine production industry with actionable insights derived from individual animal data. Their focus is on continuous individual weight monitoring, essential for tracking growth patterns, with plans to expand into behavior, health, and nutrition insights.

Nimrod Madar, CEO of FarmSee, expressed excitement about the collaboration with MSD Animal Health, seeing it as an opportunity for further technological development and growth. He highlighted the validation of their technology’s value and the potential for new opportunities in expansion.

Stephen Murray, Associate Vice President of MSD Animal Health Ventures, emphasized their longstanding support for FarmSee’s technology. He anticipates the integration of FarmSee’s swine-monitoring technology into MSD Animal Health’s suite of solutions, aiming to positively impact animal health and welfare while driving advancements for pork producers globally.
